Four Componets of our Comprehensive School Counseling Program 

Curriculum

The school counseling curriculum includes both classroom units and lessons as well as structured activities. Classroom units and lessons include school counseling services that are delivered to ALL students in a classroom setting, that addresses the content areas of social/emotional development, academic development, and career development 

Responsive Services 

The responsive services component includes

brief, solution-focused individual counseling, counseling for 6 to 8 weeks in a small group setting, crisis intervention, consulting with other professionals, and referral.

Individual Planning

The individual student planning component includes assisting students in planning, monitoring, and managing their social/emotional, academic, and career development. The purpose of this component is the development and use of Personal Plans of Study.

System Support

The system support component includes program, staff, and school support activities and  services with the purpose of delivery and support of the comprehensive school counseling program.
